If the “government shutdown” doesn’t end expensive, counterproductive wars, why are our parks closed?  What is the real problem here?  How is ObamaCare going to improve healthcare?

If government derives its power and finances from the people, how do the people decide to replace the existing, corrupt, outdated system of government with something more modern and effective?  Perhaps it is time that direct democracy replaced representative democracy.  There’s no doubt that the technology to do so exists.
